This is not the bounce to work through this on; [email protected] 
is for discussing the next version of OpenSuSE, not debugging previous 
ones.

Check /var/log/cups/* on the server and check that kprinter is set to
use CUPS.  Post your question either on suse-linux-e or a bounce 
dedicated to KDE.
