So it's quite easy going to have all mails of the last month(s) as a starting point. You will find some list out there in the wild which offer this.

Im looking at the moment into swish-e... :-)) If there will be a list faq as it is for suse-users (de) it might be good to have an example how to use swish++ for local mailfolder indexing. Also a howto/sdb how to set up a MhonArc for home use might be interesting for some of us.
