please, don't mix threads. I opened an other thread to a
different goal, hence driven by this reading I quoted

well... it don't worked at all, but on an old 9.1 SUSE.

but of my fresh 10.0, I have windowmaker but pretty naked.
All I have in the menus are kde or gnome applications, and
if on a light PC I need windowmaker it's to get rid of kde :-)

last year (I don't know what happen to it now) I started
Dynebolic live cd and see a wonderfull windowmaker, full of
nice utilities and no kde at all. all preconfigured.

I understand very well that SUSE Novell developpers can't
allow to manage all the window managers on the road, but it
could be a community project to make an install option for a
lightweight but flexible window manager. WinodwMaker seems
to me a good candidate because I like it :-) but an other
one can be choosen, I don't care.

but there should definitively be an option not to have kde
nor gnome and still have a GUI :-)
