Hmm, the last time I installed from CD (but that's some releases ago) 
the reboot was always after CD1. Has this changed?

Someone sent a similar report to the german FAQ mailinglist (wrong 
target ;-) ) yesterday - but I don't know how he did the installation.
I told him to boot with   init=/bin/bash   and then to set the root 
password and to create a new user.
