I think that the main one is cutting down on speed in some way.

I use azureus. An extra disadvatange for the download is that downloading
an ISO is faster then using applydeltaiso. :-(
So to conclude:
bittorrent might be the worst choice for most people due to several
factors:
1) It is slower then FTP
2) You download 5 CD's instead of the needed 3
