Are you joking? Imagine a user who used to use pine since years. He
types "pine" into a shell and mutt starts instead. What should this
user think? You can maybe display an alert like: "pine is no longer part
of openSUSE, if you want to use it, please download it from..." but you
cannot start another program by using an alias without telling the user
what's happening. That's a usability nightmare.
BTW: The same is valid of course for pico=nano.
