Hello, Can NetworkManager manage two ethernet interfaces? In my experiences it can only one, namely eth0. Do I see something wrong? I couldn't find a related bugreport... My other problem is automatic interface renaming. It's related to the previous problem. I want to use the gigabit interface from the mother board of my computer, which is detected as eth0, the 10/100 interface as eth1 on boot. But at the end of hardware detection the naming is exchanged: eth0 renamed to ethxx0 eth1 renamed to eth0 ethxx0 renamed to eth1 How can I turn this feature off? It goes on my nerves, that even if I hardcode device names for eth0 and eth1 in /etc/modprobe.conf or /etc/modprobe.conf.local it's still messed up. As my gigabit interface becomes eth1, but NetworkManger deals only with eth0, I don't have a network. I know, I can go the traditional ethernet configuration, but I wanted to test graphical VPN configuration and use the Gigabit interface... Bye, CzP
