Market share. Spread SUSE Linux, grow the community,
IMO, they would get more of that with the admin book included. More sales
the better. This way, they will get mostly firstimers (repeaters will
download) - and firstimers need manuals.

That would not be affected.
In my guess the current Novell Linux strategy is "the more publicity the
better". And indeed they give away their good work for nothing currently,
so there is only a small market for the box. But a huge spreading of the
box content...
Let's hope with them.
