I think you will have to wait till SUSE 10.2. IIRC it was told already on this 
list that the change of structure of X from monolithic to modular affects the 
system somewhat, so they are sticking with 6.9 for now. I do hope they use 
7.1 in 10.2. Meanwhile, since Fedora 5 uses X 7.0, I gotta reboot to there to 
check if updated RPMs are available...
