i imagine you have kind of usb disk, which you carry around:

1. copy the DVD content on disk
2. rsync the rest of the installation source.

to quote gladiac's (http://www.cynapses.org/) rsync script:

[[[
#!/bin/bash
#
# SUSE 10.1 rsync script
#

SRC="rsync://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/opensuse/distribution/SL-10.1/inst-source/"
DST="/srv/ftp/pub/suse/10.1/inst_source/"

test -r $DST || mkdir -p $DST
