Howdy,
I've been searching through the lists and various boards but can't seem to
resolve this issue.I've been running 10.1 since it was released. Overall it
has been very solid. Of course like everyone else I have been waiting for
this update issue to get resolved and I thought it finally was. I waited
for all the mirrors to resolve (I waited until Wed 06-14-06) before
updating. And now I think I have managed to get the various updaters and
cache's on my machine in an inconsistent state. Heres what is going on:

1. Updated via Yast.
  - selected only the libzypp option
2. Reboot and carry on
3. notice that the toolbar widget says there are updates (next day)
4. close toolbar widget and try Yast update
5. Yast update will not let me select/de-select an of about 20 or 30 updates

6. roll the dice and let it update what it wants to update figuring it was a
follow on series of fixes to libzypp
7. reboot (i have an old windows hangover OK?)
8. All the same packages are asking to be updated again?
 - i can not select or deselct anything
9. This time when I press accept the Yast2 window dissapears immediately

Questions are
1. what's wrong?
2. how do I fix it?

Thanks
Chris
