KSysGuard. GUI version. Ctrl+Esc gives you the running process list. From
the main menu go to System, Monitor, KSysGuard and that'll also give you a
graph monitor that you can customize.

htop. Non-GUI solution that isn't as resource intensive. Lists all running
processes as well as give you a quick glimpse of over-all system usage.


Depending on how much information you want, you can also use something
like SuperKaramba and use one of the dozens of desktop widgets...
there's one that will show you the output of top... or many others
that will show  you things like CPU load, memory load, ethernet
throughput etc etc etc.

Or gtkrelm with also shows a grpahical overview of CPU load etc.
