Hi,
did you perform an online update after installation? There are some older hints
in German newsgroups (< Version 10.0) having this issue after performing an
update. They reinstalled Yast from CD/DVD after this again to get it back
working (I will have to set up an SuSE 64-Bit System in office in two weeks, so
I am really intersted how this issue is solved).
