Hi,

the problem is also a typical suse problem, because libsync release 0.41 requires openobex 1.1, but suse 10.1 only delivers openobex 1.0.1 rpm.

Does anybody have have any information about this topic?

I'd like to use bluetooth, but really, any way to synchronize
calender and contact information would do.

sdptool browse tells me that the Nokia amongst other things has
SyncML capability. But I haven't succeeded in getting it to work, and
the synchronization module in Kontact doesn't seem to understand
SyncML.

Kontact use the obsolete multisync. Please visit http://www.opensync.org
and check out the new opensync. Please note: libopensync is still under
heavy development. Don't use it without a good backup.

It doesn't help that I really don't know how SyncML is supposed to
work. am I supposed to set up a network link through Obex, or how is
the connection going to work?

I would like to know what the options are.

Best regards

        Christopher
