I'm running SuSE 10.2 Alpha 5 x86_64 on a Sun SunFire X4200 (two dual-core AMD Opteron CPUs and "uname -a" produces: Linux seneca 2.6.18-9-default #1 SMP Mon Oct 2 23:27:41 UTC 2006 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux) and most things seem to work fine, but I can't seem to get either the NX that comes with 10.2 to work or install a newer version of FreeNX on this system.
I have FreeNX installed and working on several other computers runing SuSE 10.1, but none of them are running the 64-bit version of Linux. Has anyone had success running FreeNX on a similar platform? Is this a 64-bit or SMP issue or is it something about 10.2? I have tried this with both AppArmor and the firewall disabled and it makes no difference.
