How the webmail page shows doesn't have anything to do with the browser
used.

Unless gmail is being "clever" and shows a different page deppending on
the detected browser. If that's the case, you should ask them - but it is
not.

Try in the drop list at the right, under "reply". It is gmail who has
changed things. ;-)
