About a week and a half ago there was a programme on BBC television where
people take old items and the experts tell them what the items are worth.

A man turned up with a grandfather clock which had been made by his great
great ? grandfather.
The maker sold the clocks for a living.

The expert mentioned the locked door on the clock which had to be opened to
wind up the clock once a week.
The clocks were sold without a key to open the door to wind up the clock.

The customer had to pay for the maker to come each week and open the door and
wind up the clock.

The door lock on this particular clock had been forced.

Immediately, before I had heard of the agreement between Microsot and Novell,
I thought of Microsoft!
