Hi,

May I ask what version of Suse that you are referring to regarding the
You configuraiton files?

I looked into Suse 10.1 but failed to locate them...

The "add software" stuff is stored in several files
/var/adm/Yast/InstSrcManager/IS_CACHE_<hex_number>/DESCRIPTION/descripti
on,
where <hex_number> is an 8-byte hexadecimal number. Each source has its
own directory, eg. IS_CACHE_0x00000001, IS_CACHE_0x00000002, and so on.

For YOU, the list of servers that YOU downloads is stored in
/var/lib/YaST2/you/youservers, and this file will likely change every
time you do an update. Any YOU servers you add yourself are stored in
/var/lib/YaST2/you/config, but it appears as if only the last server you
defined is actually stored in the file.
