This differs from university to university. At my university, the department I
was in, known as computer science ('datalogi' in Swedish) dealt with
theoretical stuff, understanding algorithmic theory, analysing and proving
stuff
He... he... One of my comp sci profs once told us once, "I am not here to teach you how to program. I am here to make great minds. If you want to learn how to program, go buy "C For Dummies" and ask for a refund from the registrars office".
