Yes, but this is not due to the card being old. It's due to being cheap,
and having only a single link DVI interface.

It's true, that for the nv driver the BIOS has an important role as
well. I was missing the fact that Andrei used the NV driver, as he
talked about 'modprobe nvidia' :-]
