More of a pity, apparently only one person recognized/had the problem
and responded.  Does 'obscure problem' come to mind rather than '10.1
terminally ill' being true?  Or were you *just* referring to your
particular installation problem?

Good that you have achieved a working model of the best distro
available at an affordable price.  And you didn't even have to report
to m$ the regestration and ask for verification that your install was
?legal?.
