I try to audit samba log cause in my server, there are lot of file
with '*.t' extention and I'd like to check where they came from (maybe
one of our workstation got viruses). So in [global] i add:
syslog = 0
log level = 0 vfs:10
log file = /var/log/samba/lib/log.%m
vfs objects = extd_audit
If we delete some files it will logged, but when we create a file, it
wont logged. I have tried to changes with vfs:1, or vfs:2.. but still
it doesnt log create files. I try to check di
/usr/share/doc/packages/samba/Samb3-Howto/htmlmanual/vfs.html , but it
gives very minimum information.. So, have anyone tried audit this
samba log ? anyhelp appreciates
