Hi,

the problem is that absolutely nothing is happening. I am using Gnome as
a GUI and after I insert a DVD nothing happens, no Nautilus pops up or
anything in that way. Even stranger is that if I look at "computer:///"
I see the icon for the file system and for the network. Usually the
CD-RW/DVD-RW icon can be found there too. In the moment I insert a DVD
the icon for the CD-RW/DVD-RW Drive disappears.
If I insert a CD all works quite normal. The CD-RW/DVD-RW icons does not
disappear and after a second a new nautilus window pops up and shows me
the content of the CD.

BUT, as I posted before, I can mount DVDs (and read them) if I use the
'mount' command in the console.
I can type in 'mount /dev/hdb /mnt' and after that there is no problem
reading the content of the DVD (in the /mnt directory) via nautilus.
