For no reason I can think of my machine jumped up and loaded ax25 I wasn't even at the machine at the time, and have no clue what thats for (other than it seems to be for Armature Radio).
I get these entries in messages : Dec 18 20:38:47 pen kernel: NET: Registered protocol family 4 Dec 18 20:38:47 pen kernel: ax25: module not supported by Novell, setting U taint flag. Dec 18 20:38:47 pen kernel: NET: Registered protocol family 3 Dec 18 20:38:47 pen kernel: NET: Registered protocol family 5 It didn't do this at boot time, and grepping my logs shows that it loads this very infrequently, like once every 5 or 8 days.
