Well its a complete jam, its not that you can press crtl-c and it continues.

and it's very frequent in my machine, something like 80% of all
bootups result in a jam.

I've already seen a bugzilla report on this.  I think it was
another Dell.  You might search the novell bugzilla to
vote for that bug.

As for the boot hang, I've seen that infrequently on a
number of different boxes. Sometimes you can wait
it out, and sometimes you can hit ctrl-c and it
carries on. No clue.  Its so infrequent i never
can catch it.
