[opensuse] zmd fails to connect (/var/log/messages)

I get the following lines in /var/log/messages:

Dec 30 08:21:33 linux zmd: NetworkManagerModule (WARN): Failed to 
connect to NetworkManager
Dec 30 08:23:22 linux zmd: Daemon (WARN): Not starting remote web server
Is this a problem and if so what can I do to fix it?
