We discontinued SUSE Linux 9.0 support a year ago. ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/discontinued/ as YOU base url should work (but slow). ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/discontinued/i386/update/9.0/ for the full URL if you want to mirror by-hand.
