I moved my external Zip Drive to my Linux box to access a file stored there. KDE popped an icon on the desktop. HOWEVER, when tried to access it this came up:
Method "Mount" with signature "ssas" on interface "org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.Volume" doesn't exist In my 10.0 installation this method worked just fine. Well.... at least clicking on the desktop icon worked just fine. I use an external hard drive sometimes on the USB port also.
