I have a new install of 10.2 and have noticed that it takes a very long
time to reboot (7-10 minutes). I believe this has something to do with
the hardware scan taking place at boot time.

After the system comes online, below are the processes I believe are
getting hung up. Is there a way to disable this hardware scan? I
believe this is caused by enabling acpi, which I have to do in order for
10.2 to properly see the raid5 setup. I always ran it disabled (same
hardware) with no issue on suse 7.2-9.3.
