Hi Dennis,

if you installed from downloaded media, than it is not big problem some mirror 
that you was redirected failed.

Use YaST -- Installation Source and add installation source directly, like:
ftp://mirrors.kernel.org/opensuse/distribution/10.2/repo/oss
ftp://mirrors.kernel.org/opensuse/distribution/10.2/repo/non-oss
ftp://mirrors.kernel.org/suse/i386/update/10.2

or if that fails:
ftp://ftp-1.gwdg.de/opensuse/distribution/10.2/repo/oss
ftp://ftp-1.gwdg.de/opensuse/distribution/10.2/repo/non-oss
ftp://ftp-1.gwdg.de/pub/suse/i386/update/10.2

Also, you may want to look in:
http://en.opensuse.org/Additional_YaST_Package_Repositories
