[EMAIL PROTECTED], I checked the rpm's for you. They moved kscd to
kdemultimedia3-extra. kdemultimedia3-CD now only contains kaudiocreator.

Waht error do you get when you try to run it from a console?

(1) Right click on xmms (not on the playlist window). Select "Options"->
    "Preferences"

(2) In the "Input Plugin" pane, select "CD Audio Player" and click
    "Configure"

(3) In the configuration dialog, check "Digital audio extraction"
