Who can really say? SUSE have brought in so many package managers (or at
least support for so many repository formats) that us mere mortals do
not know. The old fashioned YasT package manager has never supported
this. I also use smart with rpm-md repositories and I do not see the
file contents of packages that are not installed. Perhaps it is a smart
thing.
