Dear John,
Same here. Installed Kubuntu and tried out a local Red Hat
variant (IGOS) and everything went well.Kubuntu is running without problems but 
to be honest, I still
miss my Suse.Will try out the touch thing and see that I get my Suse up and
running. Will report ;).
