Now press Accept etc >regards >Ian The trick was installing libxine1. When I did that, it automatically trashed lib-xine. So, I guess lib-xine was, in essence, a crippled version of libxine1 which came with the distro and needed to be completely replaced by the libxine1 package from packman.
