I'm not familiar with your error message, but a lot of SATA issues can
be resolved by tinkering with your BIOS settings. So I would try a
few different settings of the IDE/SATA controllers, but you may want
to record the current settings before you start.
One issue will be if you already have another OS installed and
working, then adjusting the above can break those working
environments.
