I run 64 bit SUSE 10.2 on my main system.  It works well.  The only
thing you have to be careful of is browser plugins.  Many of them are 32
bit only.  So, while I have the 64 bit version of Seamonkey installed, I
still use the 32 bit version of Firefox.  There are also 64 bit versions
of OpenOffice available here
