IMHO it simply depends on what you use your player for. My wife cannot
stand XMMS, she loves Amarok, clicking on Lyrics and Band info just
works for her - also sticking in a USB stick and dragging the mp3s
around without fiddling with a filemanagers again just works for her.
She has converted me.

Bloat!!? so your running Damn Small Linux are you? Definitely not SUSE!

I use XMMS for my standalone DSL jukebox, Amarok will not work there.

So, it depends on what you use it for - like most other things in live.
