[opensuse] Xen and Yast wizard automatically creating extra virtual HD - why?

Just asking if there is a reason unknown to myself that when I request 
to create a 16GB hard drive  (hda), I also get a 3.6GB hdb?  Does Xen 
need this for some reason or is this a Yast - ism?
