The size and position of the window should be adjustable via the suggested dialog (or the controlcenter module). (See http://lunabox.de/tmp/) If you'd like to preset settings like side bar and so on, I think you can use konqueror's "profiles" capabilities (konqueror menu -> settings -> view profile or something like that).
