Either of those are good, but the all the reviews I have read say that dollar for dollar Core 2 Duo wins all performance benchmarks hands down. It should, after all Intel more or less stole the design from AMD. Of course, you have to check your watch when you make statements like that, because these things change overnight. Disclaimer: I've purchased both a Core 2 Duo machine and and AMD 64 X2 machine in the last 90 days. They were not the same price range. Most current model Dell Core 2 Duo machines have hardware virtualization support switchable in the bios. Haven't tried Xen, I've been using Vmware for many years. No company should be allowed to offer something named Xen if they also offer something called Zen. Its just wrong on so many levels. -- _____________________________________ John Andersen
