Hi, Suse 10.0 x86_64 (but it was the same way with 9.3 i386).
When a bad CD (with scratches or dirty) is inserted in the CDROM, after some retries to read the data somehow the DMA is disabled. Then I have to manually enable it using hdparm, otherwise it is never restored, even if I put a good disk in the device. So, how can I remove this "feature"? -- Svetoslav Milenov (Sunny) Even the most advanced equipment in the hands of the ignorant is just a pile of scrap. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
