What problem would that be, exactly?

Actually, I didn't use Wintendo to prove it better/worse, just to check 
libraries.  I was curious if the same XXL .png file would load on one OS the 
same as the other.

Not really.

I doubt too many people run into such a monstorous .png file. That is - after 
all - really large, and may simply be too big for some libraries to handle. 

By comparison to a buffer overflow exploit, I'm sure it is a lesser priority.
