Hi,

Checkinstall has been producing for me a wrong spec; see:

Packager:  checkinstall-1.6.0
Group:     Compilaciones/Productivity/Multimedia/Video/Players
BuildRoot: /var/tmp/checkinstall.r22331/package
Provides:  xine-lib
Requires:  ,/bin/sh

Do you notice the "requires" field? Due to that (which ocurred in my 10.1
and 10.2 installs) I have defined in '/etc/checkinstallrc':

  # Review the .spec file before creating a .rpm
  REVIEW_SPEC=1

so that I get a chance to edit the spec file and delete that line - or
checkinstall will fail.

Does any body else has the same problem, or is it only me? How can it be
solved?

Now I have a new problem in 10.2: I call it using sudo, meaning that the
"EDITOR" environment variable is removed, so that checkinstall uses "vi",
which is a nuisance for me. I'll ask about this in another thread.
