 - seems to me, that the moment the specialist program gets running on 
VMware . . . it becomes wonderfully 'portable'

 - cloning is a smooth operation : all that is needed is to copy ones 
vmware directory [ say, /opt/vmware  ] to another Drive or Computer

 - this can be done quickly without needing to enter Serial Numbers, 
Passwords & such-like

 . . . it is also handy to be able to take quick 'snapshots' of whole 
VMware machine.

{ as a non-techie, it seems to me better to run Windows on a Virtual 
Machine }
