As the audio cds are not data cds, no, you can not browse them. I understand
that konqueror "emulates" browsing them, but not nautilus, AFAIK. You can
run konqueror fine inside gnome, you do not need to be tied to one
environment only, you can have all of them: this is Linux! :-)

Hello,
on my suse 10.0 nautilus could browse the cd`s until i did an online
update then i couldn`t browse them anymore. I have a test computer that right
now has fadora core 6 and nautilus browses the cd`s,
I was wondering it had something to do with the fstab file.

Curious.

If I try to open an audio CD with Nautilus in SuSE 10.2 it opens helix banshee to play it. I would like to disable that, I prefer manually firing which program I want.

If you go to the gnome contol center and go to the disk settings you can tell gnome what program to open the cd with.
