Hard drives are sata, DVD drive is IDE Benq 1680. The DVD drive is /dev/hdd. I also have Sony DVD drive of the same type, /dev/hda, but it does the same thing. I can write it single layer DVD, but have nevery used double layer before, however, I did copy one dual layer dvd with no problem.
