Hi Timo, Thanks for the solution. I updated kpowersave, and the power button now acted as expected. However, the shutdown procedure hangs, as sometimes before. This time it was hanging at 'Shutting down service kdm' and I had to do a hard reset. Any idea why? Thanks a lot Daniel
