Well, you don't use an ax to repair a watch. You remove: /var/lib/smart/channels/* and /var/lib/smart/cache You probably have one bad source. I would suggest you post your sources or disable them all and inable one at a time and doing an update before enabling another until you find the culprit. > I tried several versions of smart, and they all did similar flaky > stuff.
