There is an SDB page that describes how to create static mount points for CD/DVD drives: http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Mounting_to_Static_Mount_Points Unfortunately - according to the description - this method can't be applied to USB sticks in SUSE >= 10.0. If one knows a solution for USB sticks, please let me know. I asked this before but got no answer.
