Hello list members, I downloaded and read the opensuse10.2 reference manual concerning SCPM profile management. Here is the problem.
I started scpm daemon and opened yast2, I set the configuration to enabled and used the command line to copy the default profile to a new profile called home and another called work. Home being wireless and work being wired with to completely different setup. I know that the profiles work if I manually switch them. But I wanted to do it from the boot screen, I press F3 and choose work or home and let the system boot. However, no matter which one I choose, the last configuration that I was in before shutdown will be the one used during boot. Example, if I am at work and have used scpm switch work and shutdown, then if I choose home during the boot phase it will still come up using the work profile not the profile for home. Any suggestions, thought, assistance would be appreciated. -- John Registered Linux User 263680, get counted at http://counter.li.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
